I’ve tried so many aftercare creams over the years, but nothing compares to 52Ruby. From the moment I applied it, it instantly soothed the burning and redness I usually get after a tattoo. The pain was gone in minutes — literally. My skin stayed calm, didn’t flake, and my tattoo healed completely in less than a week.
What really surprised me is how well it works on other irritations too. I even used it on a burn and it worked like magic. It’s smooth, natural, and smells great without being overpowering. I can’t recommend this enough — whether you’re getting tattoos, piercings, or just have sensitive skin, this balm is a total game changer.
Feels more like a thin balm than a cream, which I like. I used it on a fresh forearm piece and it helped reduce that tight, dry feeling without leaving me greasy. Healing went smooth, and I didn’t flake as much. No scent, which is good when you’re wearing it all day. It’s become my go-to aftercare now.
wow, this is pricey stuff. the ointment isn't as waxy, buttery textured like all the others I've tried. its more a sticky paste consistency. the scent is very minimal and smells slightly fruity, almost grape notes with some slight earthiness. the tin is a fairly decent size. i was shocked by the price as these are usually way cheaper. after using it i can say it requires far less than those. i think this would last for multiple back pieces. you really only need a tiny bit and it rubs on easily to cover large areas with a small amount. it also absorbs in nicely rather than leaving skin tacky or oily for long periods. i haven't tried it on any new ink but it seems to help revive my existing tattoos nicely.
I really like this product it is well made and makes my skin tattoo feel great. I also like to put on Stretched ear lobes for stretching and after heals. Does not burn fresh tattos.
The cream works great. It starts healing as soon as you put it up there. And heals for any open cuts or bruises.
There are not enough words to describe this product!! It is what they say and way more. As a tattoo artist I find it hard to work without it now!!!!!!
$110 for this seems crazy high priced. However, I still give it 5 stars because despite the unnecessarily high price, it's good. It works well with moisturizing my sensitive skin. I appreciate the natural ingredients. My extremely sensitive skin has not had any negative reactions. A little goes a long way. I don't use it for specifically after tattoo care. I just use it on my skin, the inked and uninked part. This works on skin of different races, colors, genders, ages, etc.
My artist used it while tattooing and I couldn't help asking him what was it.

I have suffered a 2 and 3rd degree burn in 2022. Using multiple products with slow skin rejuvenating results. When 52rudy came out and I tried it WOW !!! ISN’T ENOUGH!! My skill is know healing with visble results in one months that took months with other creams. If you have old scars or new ones this is a must use! You will be amazed us morning & evening message softly a few minutes and cover with socks!
Just got my 3rd tatoo. I applyed the 52ruby cream on top and what a pain relief! Also redness went down sooner anhdhealing was smooth!
